   Due to lower screw rotation speed, smaller shear force between screws, a larger area of thermal conductivity, and longer stay in the screw , parallel twin-screw and barrel has the advantage of good plasticization, high productivity, small shear force, stable pressure , less wear and tear and low cost, which makes up some defects of a large-scale conical twin-screw extruder. Parallel twin-screw and barrel is widely used in PVC products processing, especially for the production of PVC products with the output over 350Kg / h, because the parallel twin-screw and barrel costs less than conical twin-screw and barrel while it has more mature technology.

    However, in recent years, due to the demand of extrusion of large-diameter PVC pipe, PVC sheet and high-speed profile , cheap materials such as CaCO3 and wood powder are mixed into resin. But the added filling cannot be blended effectively with resin because of poor compatibility as well as different proportion and fluidity, which causes some difficulty to the production. Since the original screw structure and L/D ratio cant meet the requirement, Jinhua people absorbed the merits of parallel screw designs in domestic and oversea factories, that is big L/D, plasticization at a low temperature and big torque. It resolved the above mentioned defects and also successfully solved the problem of easy fracture. Jinhua people also purchased various kinds of materials of anti-corrosion and wear resistance as well as introduced internationally advanced heat-treatment equipments and technology to solve the problem of wear and corrosion. Parallel twin-screw and barrel is successfully applied in PVC plate, pipe, profile, pellet and mould, at the same time, it solved the technical problem of low foaming, high foaming, high filling, wear and corrosion.
